How We Verify Listings

Accurate listings are the whole point of FightsOnTV.com. Here's exactly how we build and check them, so you know how much to trust a given entry.

Where our data comes from

We compile listings from primary sources wherever possible:

When two sources conflict, we defer to the broadcaster for channel and coverage time and to the promotion for card, bout order and date, and we re-check as the event approaches.

Card segments & start times

A fight card is not one start time — it's usually two or three segments (early prelims, prelims, main card) that begin at different times, sometimes on different platforms. We list each segment with its own start time. We store every time in US Eastern and convert it to your local zone automatically in your browser. Where a broadcaster's "coverage begins" time differs from the first bout, we use the coverage time, because that's when you need to be watching.

Main-event walkouts

The main event doesn't start when the main card starts — the headliners typically walk a couple of hours later, depending on how quickly the undercard finishes. We say so plainly rather than invent a walkout time, and we only state an estimated walkout window when a promotion or broadcaster has published one.

PPV vs. subscription

We are careful to distinguish a pay-per-view you must buy from a card included with a subscription — they are not the same, and getting it wrong costs you money. UFC numbered events, for example, are no longer US pay-per-views (they're included with Paramount+ in 2026), while many marquee boxing cards still are. Where a card is a PPV we badge it, and we show the price only when it has been officially published, treating price as per-event data.

"TBD" times

If you see TBD instead of a start time, it means the exact broadcast time has not yet been published — normal for events more than a week or two out, and especially for international cards (ONE from Bangkok, UFC Fight Nights from Europe or the Middle East) that air at odd US hours. We deliberately show TBD rather than invent a time, and fill it in as soon as an official time is confirmed.

Fighter records & history

On our per-event pages and previews we include the bout order, records and title context. This information is researched and verified against real sources, or left out entirely. We do not fabricate records, results or statistics; a blank section means we could not confirm the fact, not that we forgot it. Because cards change constantly, every preview shows the date its facts were verified. This standard is set out in our Editorial Policy.

Found an error?

Cards move, and occasionally we get one wrong. If a time, channel, date or price looks off, please tell us at syntraxstudios@proton.me or through our Submit an Event page. We review corrections quickly and update the Site as soon as we've confirmed the fix.
